I love the 1970s and I styled my Grand Finale look to represent my love for it.  I was asked to style Fashionably Late at Liberty Hotel Boston, my inspiration for this show was Emerald City Sequence from the movie The Wiz!  The Emerald City Sequence relates to me and the ever changing rules and world of fashion!  During the musical the Wiz commands fashion trends and colors that the civilians need to wear, here is my homage to the film and fashion of the cult classic that debuted on October 24th, 1978.  My day consisted of text and calls from my clients who are performers, they were anxious for my show and also wanted me to walk to get ready for their upcoming performances.  5 models from Dynasty Models and 15 looks styled by me, Natalie Mason, for my company Luxshop4u. Photographers were  Ryan Lewis and Wasyl Durand

If your brand or store would like me to feature their products on my clients who perform, attend awards or fashion shows submit your looks to me here!

Thank you to my friends, colleagues and clients from Saks Fifth Avenue, Gucci, Louis Vuitton, Christian Dior, Neiman Marcus, Kava, and Jimmy Choo. My friends that helped me behind the scenes I thank you with all my heart!  The celebrities who lent their support I thank you!

Looks for my Grand finale were from Christian Louboutin, Saint Laurent, Beauty Line Boston and my hair was styled  Shellee Mendes for hair Salon Monet.  Jewelry and other looks were sourced from various retailers.

Fall/Winter Fashion of 2016

Ken Downing is the Fashion Director and Senior Vice President of Neiman Marcus.  In April 2016, Boston fashion lovers were treated to sparkling wine and hors d’oeuvres during Ken’s Trend Report.  Mr. Downing delivered an animated report and kept us wanting more!  Trends that were discussed for the Fall and Winter were gold clothing and accessories, Ziggy Stardust inspired metallics and stars, adorned shoes, skirts that move, top-handle bags, velvet, florals, bomber jackets, berry shades, chokers, and not your grandmothers pearls.  Below are some of  the looks that were forecasted and worn by the who’s who of fashion and entertainment during the show.
